In 2020/2021 Maya Dew was part of the CFCCA YouthLab publication on what next for our city.
This project was a collaborative publication based on what we saw as the future of Manchester and ways we could positively improve the community around us. The project investigated sustainability and opened up conversations on the environmental issues within local, national and global.
The artists involved are Hannah Weiner, Scott Brown, Maya Dew, G.L.D., Shona Sterling and Hattie Hopkins, with the project artist being Niki Colclough. Working remotely, we all met over zoom to discuss each of our plans and to form collective ideas for the outcome of the publication. The publication designer is Crystal Lui.
This publication is on show on the CFCCA website and will be kept in the permanent archive.
